BITSMUN is organised by BITS Pilani Hyderabad Campus every year in the month of October.
When does it happen?
BITSMUN '14 is scheduled to take place from October 3rd to 5th, 2014. Sessions will be held on all 3 days. A more detailed schedule of events will be out soon.
Where does it happen?
The venue for BITSMUN, as usual, is the Hyderabad Campus of BITS Pilani University, located in Shamirpet, Hyderabad. You can look at the Google Map embedded above to get a clearer idea of the same.
Where is my accommodation?
The delegates have two options regarding accommodation.
What is the delegate fee?
The delegate fee for BITSMUN '14 is Rs 1500 if you want to avail our hostel common room accommodation. If you want to stay at Aalankrita Resorts, we will make a special BITSian discount available for you, and we'll book the rooms for you; and you'll have to pay for your stay.
What does the delegate fee include?
The Delegate fee is inclusive of food, including the Delegate dinner. Coupons for breakfast (2), lunch (3) and Delegate dinner (1) will be provided with your kit. It will also include the delegate kit and necessary stationery that delegates require. It also includes 3-day hostel common room accommodation.
How can I pay the delegate fee?
The delegate fee must be paid when you arrive at the gate for the conference. There will be a payment desk near the gate where the entire delegate fee must be paid along with the extra hundred rupees for the mattress. The hundred rupees will be reimbursed when the delegate is about to leave the campus on the last day of the conference. No other fees need to be paid prior to the conference.
What about food?
The Delegate fee is inclusive of food, including the Delegate dinner. Coupons for breakfast (2), lunch (3) and Delegate dinner (1) will be provided with your kit. Also, there are a quite a few places to go for food in our campus, so getting something to eat should not be a problem. Water bottles will be readily available inside council. Outside of the conference, they may easily be purchased from multiple stores on the campus.

From Secunderabad Railway Station (Gurudwara Point) to BITS Main gate:

From BITS Main Gate to Secunderabad Railway Station:
08:45, 09:15, 09:45, 10:45, 11:55, 12:45, 13:55, 15:15, 16:15, 17:25, 18:15, 18:20, 19:35, 20:25.
City buses having numbers 211S, 211A, 211C, 211D, 211E, 211J, 211K, 211T, 211U, 567, 568, 569 which ply from Secunderabad Railway Station to various destinations to the Campus side. Further, there are many APSRTC buses from Secunderabad, Jubilee bus stand to Karim Nagar, Siddhipet, Ramagundam, Gajwel, Cheriyal etc. People can board any of these buses, get down either at Thumkunta or Dongala Mysamma junction which is 1KM away and take an auto to the campus.
