An engineer not just with degree but with insights on practicality.

Satwik always wanted to become engineer, not just with degree but with practical skills and insight of real life technologies. He is graduating from Vellore Institute of Technology, in 2014 and as a Mechanical Engineer, He has been involved with numerous projects and research works throughout his college life. He has published his research papers in many International Journals.

Achievements

3rd Position in 'Blaze Energy Efficiency Contest', conducted by Schneider Electric in 2013.
Worked as a 'Event Manager' at ASME IGTI India GT group for 2 year (2012-2014)
Awarded with 'Fellowship' of SAM Global Foundation in 2014
Worked as a 'Chairperson' at Student Chapter of 'American Society of Mechanical Engineers' at VIT University, Vellore.

Solar Tube Light (It works without consuming any source of conventional energy)
Efficient LED Light (40-50 % more efficient than conventional LEDs light)

Authorship

A published poet.

Inspired from his father (writer by part time), Satwik started writing poems at the age of 8 years. He wrote various poems and articles for the yearbook and magazines during his school and college life. He got his poems published in various national and international anthologies and got his first book published at the age of 22.

Awards and Recognition

6th Position in the 'The Lost Paradise', a national level short story writing contest, conducted by The Indian Fusion
3rd Prize in the debate competition, held at NIT (National Institute of Technology) Tiruchapalli in 2012.
